Screen Media Lab
Screen Media Lab is a purpose built centre for enterprise and innovation in screen media and visual design, part of Birmingham City University's Department of Media and Communication.
The centre is fully equipped with specialist screen, sound and post-production equipment, including a complete High Definition outfit and an audio suite.

Media Content Lab is a creative multimedia team, which is part of Birmingham City University, that offers a range of high quality web development, e:marketing, branding and print design services.
Focused on offering support to businesses to help make greater use of screen-based media technologies, MCL aims to develop the commercial market for digital media in the West Midlands region.
With support from a number of funding streams, Media Content Lab is able to offer subsidised assistance to companies. We are particularly looking for innovative ideas and projects.
Media Skills is an industry led training facility that offers a variety of professional media related courses ranging from entrepreneurial programmes, specialist accredited courses, software development and High Definition training.

Media Skills offers a variety of professional media related courses and continually works towards improving and enhancing its schedule.
Notion Studio is a multimedia production studio, housed at Birmingham City University, specialising in high definition video, DVD production and 2D/3D animation.
Focused on offering support to businesses from all industry sectors to help them make greater use of screen-based media technology, Notion Studio engages with a diverse range of companies to provide creative solutions to meet a broad range of business needs.
With support from a number of funding streams Notion Studio can offer a limited amount of free assistance to eligible West Midlands companies.
Digital Central is a regional development project that helps the West Midlands be nationally and internationally recognised for its digital media and music sectors.
Our aim is to develop an enterprise culture for cluster businesses that will help accelerate economic growth and increase employment through the promotion of innovative new ideas, the development of new market opportunities and the nurturing of a new generation of cluster entrepreneurs. Our project represents a major collaboration between the regional development agency, the private sector and higher education.
Digital Central undertakes activity against three key strategic themes: networking, showcasing and innovation.
